The Shrewsbury String Quartet has been playing together since 1999 and performs at over 200 weddings and corporate events each year. We offer a wide repertoire consisting of lighter classical selections, show tunes, Beatles and popular music. We have an extensive repertoire of liturgical music from the Catholic, Protestant and Jewish faiths.
The musical selections can be tailored to fit your ceremony.

Your wedding day is the most anticipated event of your life. We enjoy playing weddings and will try to make your day extra special. We understand how stressful it can be to organize your wedding and know that untold thought and preparation are directed toward, and centered on your special day.
No one thing provides more romance, ambiance, intimacy and elegance for a wedding ceremony than the addition of The Shrewsbury String Quartet. We provide a wonderful background and set an elegant and romantic mood, allowing for conversation among your guests, require no amplification, and will enhance both formal and informal occasions.
There are some quartets that will not perform at a Catholic Mass without an organist. We are very familiar with Catholic Masses and non-Mass ceremonies; we are very comfortable with or without an organist.
If there is music that you want that we do not have in our repertoire, we will do our best to find it for you.
We are pleased to welcome same sex couples.
For personal and private reasons, The Shrewsbury String Quartet is a strong supporter of breast cancer research.

The Shrewsbury String Quartet Plus Flute is playing a Valentine’s themed free-will concert February 12, Super Bowl Sunday, at 3:00 PM at Mary Mother of Peace in Millsboro Delaware. Music of Mozart and more. You should be home in time for the kick off. Please come and join us.
