Luba Agranovsky, piano.
A native of Moscow (Russia), Ms. Agranovsky is a graduate of the Gnessin Academy of Music and the winner of numerous Russian piano competitions. Her piano studies included work with world renowned teachers such as Maria Sharikova and Anna Kantor. She also studied harpsichord with David Shemer (Israel), Ketil Hougsland (Norway) and Arturo Saccetti (Vatican).
Ms. Agranovsky’s many honors include Aram Khachaturian young Artist Competition( Russia), Israel Radio Mozart Chamber Music Competition (Israel), “Carlo Soliva” International Chamber Music Competition (Italy).
She has made highly successful appearances with Israeli Orchestras and also has made numerous recordings for Israel Radio and Israel TV as soloist and chamber musician.
During last ten years she has been performing regularly as a member of flute and piano Duo with Dmitri Kasyuk in music centers throughout England, Scotland, Germany, Italy, Russia, Israel, USA and Canada.
In 1997 Ms. Agranovsky moved to USA, where she continues her musical career.
Ms. Agranovsky became a member of The Rachmaninov Trio in 1998. The concerts with trio includes appearances with Philadelphia Orchestra Chamber Music Series (1998-2006)
