Natives of Moscow (Russia), LUBA AGRANOVSKY and DMITRI KASYUK are graduates of the Gnessin Academy of Music in Moscow and the winners of numerous Russian piano and flute competitions. They moved to Jerusalem (Israel) in 1990.
Since winning both the Israel Broadcast Authority Competition (Jerusalem) and the “Carlo Soliva” International Chamber Music Competition in Casale Monferrato (Italy), their International career took off.The Duo has made numerous recordings for Israel Radio and Israel TV and also has made highly successful appearances with Israeli Orchestras as a flute and piano soloists. During last ten years they have been performing regularly as a Duo and Solo performers in music centers throughout the Germany, Italy, England, Scotland, Russia, Israel, USA and Canada.Ms. Agranovsky and Mr. Kasyuk came to USA in 1997, where they continue the education and musical career including Ms. Agranovsky appearances with Philadelphia Orchestra Chamber Music Series with Maestro W. Sawallisch (1998-2006) and Mr. Kasyuk performances as a Principal flutist in Spoleto Festival, Italy (1998,1999) and Concert Series with Philly Pops Orchestra (2000-2002). In addition Duo had given more than 400 recitals throughout the US.
